Usain Bolt Reacts to being Robbed US$10 million

Fastest man in the world, turned deejay, Usain Bolt is reeling from the loss of US$10 million from his investment account at Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL).

It is reported that only US$2000 is left in the account.

Bolt took to Twitter to post a stanza from his October release titled Cryptic World, which coincidentally speaks to scamming and the lengths people will go to for quick riches.

“In a World of Lies….Where is the Truth?

The History Evil….What is the Root?…MONEY

#CrypticWorld”

He captioned the five second audio.

Several reports have cited that there is an ongoing investigation into the matter and the alleged fraudster was fired just last Wednesday.

Many of Bolt’s fans have taken to social media to express their concern.

“Above the theft. It’s the betrayal.

Usain is so patriotic to his homeland & this is the thanks.

Unbelievable” @kellygurrrl tweeted this morning (January 16)

@Jcanguy said “I’ve never truly empathized with rich people losing a fortune. Sure they’re people too, I get it but I feel for Usain Bolt like a family member.

The country yute like myself built it through literally blood, sweat and tears, not trust funds and connections.

This hurts ngl…”

“Usain Bolt loves Jamaica so much, he should not be rewarded like this. He chose to invest locally, but some fraudsters had other plans. So sad! ” @taadelodun added.

@chinnie876 has sought to bash artistes and those who glorify scamming in music.

“Dawg da chopping era need fi go … we really betray Usain like dat?”

In July 2019, Bolt made his debut as a dancehall music producer with the release of the Olympe Rosériddim that featured 5 tracks from Jamaican dancehall artistes.

In November 2019, he followed up with another compilation called Immortal Riddim that included tracks from Vybz Kartel, Masicka, Munga Honorable and Christopher Martin.

In early January 2021, Bolt released a single titled “Living the Dream” with his childhood friend and manager Nugent ‘NJ’ Walker.

His debut album “Country Yutes” was released in early 2022.
