Dancehall artiste Skillibeng will be accompanying Nigerian artists WizKid on his ‘More Love Less Ego’ tour set to kick off on March 3. Fellow Nigerian singer Ruger will also be on the tour.
Wizkid made the announcement on Instagram on Friday with a motion graphic of the your dates.
“MLLE tour !! Days away @skillibeng @rugerofficial link in bio”
WizKid previously recruited the Whap Whap deejay and Shenseea for the Slip N’ Slide track which formed part of his fifth studio album of the same name.
Back in November, it debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart. The album itself debuted at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 16 on the UK Albums chart. Released on November 11 2022, the album has sold 13,000 units during its first week of release in the US.
Slip N Slide was produced by Nigerian P2J, who previously worked with Beyoncé, Skip Marley, Burna Boy, and several others.
The MLLE tour will make stops in several states and cities across the US and Canada including Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.
The Crocodile Teeth deejay was slated to join American R&B singer Chris Brown on the ‘Under The Influence’ tour which kicked off on February 12 at Dublin’s 3Arena, however, he had to pull out.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we could not make the Europe leg of the tour happen. We look forward to being on the road Again,” a statement from his team read in part.
